The First Annual AmCham Winter Ball was held on January 14th, 2006 in the Malachite Hall of the Kyrgyz National Ballet and Opera House. Entertainment was provided by over 100 performers including the entire Kyrgyz National Symphony, The Kyrgyz Opera, and The National Ballet Company. The night included fine dining, drinks, and parlor games, and raised enough money to renovate the Kyrgyz National Ballet and Opera House dressing rooms, build a website for the American University of Central Asia's Business Program, and fund the ongoing business support, foreign capital attraction, and corruption fighting efforts of AmCham Kyrgyz Republic.
