On February 18, 2025, the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic hosted the first event of the “Breakfast with the Ambassador” series. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Ahmet Sadık Doğan.

This business breakfast served as a key platform for strengthening economic cooperation and fostering open dialogue between the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and AmCham members. During the event, participants discussed vital topics, including trade opportunities, infrastructure projects, and prospects for bilateral collaboration.
AmCham’s Executive Director, Altynai Asanova, remarked: “I am confident that today’s meeting will serve as an excellent starting point for future successful projects and initiatives.”

The event aimed to enhance diplomatic and economic ties between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan, paving the way for expanded bilateral cooperation. Additionally, participants explored business and investment potential, seeking new opportunities for partnership. Establishing strong connections between business leaders and the diplomatic community was another crucial aspect of the meeting, contributing to the development of a productive and ongoing dialogue.

This business breakfast marked the launch of a new format of meetings with foreign ambassadors, which will take place every two months. We are pleased to start this initiative with Turkey, a key economic and diplomatic partner.

Mr. Ahmet Sadık Doğan is a diplomat with extensive experience at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to his appointment in Kyrgyzstan, he held several key diplomatic positions, actively working to strengthen Türkiye’s bilateral relations with various countries.
