On amendments to decisions of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of mandatory civil- liability insurance for motor vehicle owners
In order to implement the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Motor Vehicle Owners”, an amendment was made to provide for the replacement of the insured in the insurance policy. Thus, in accordance with the resolution, it is indicated that in case of change of the owner of the motor vehicle during the period of validity of the insurance contract, the new owner has the right to apply to the insurer and reissue the insurance contract in his name.
The decision shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
On ratification of the Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the elimination of double taxation in respect of taxes on income and prevention of tax evasion, signed in Bishkek on December 5, 2023
To complete domestic procedures for the entry into force of the Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of the Netherlands “On the Elimination of Double Taxation with Respect to Income Taxes and the Prevention of Tax Evasion,” signed on December 5, 2023, the agreement was signed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The agreement provides for the regulation of relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the area of taxation.
On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (to the laws “On the Licensing and Permitting System in the Kyrgyz Republic” and “On Notaries”)
Amendments were made to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the Licensing and Permit System in the Kyrgyz Republic” and the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Notaries”. According to the introduced amendments, licenses by territorial scope are differentiated into:
– universal license to carry out private notarial activities on the entire territory of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– localized license for private notarial activities in a certain territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On the approval of the procedure for ensuring the traceability of medicines and medical devices
In order to implement the provisions of the Laws of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Circulation of Medical Devices” and “On Circulation of Medicines”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 604 dated October 7, 2024 approved the Procedure for ensuring traceability of medicines and medical devices.
This procedure establishes requirements to the process of traceability of medicines and medical devices manufactured, imported and sold in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to the participants of their circulation. It regulates the procedure for registration of participants in the information system “Electronic Database of Medicines and Medical Devices”, exchange of information between them, issuance of digital labeling codes and rules for their application to traceable goods.
On the establishment of the discount rate of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic
By the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 2024-П-07/56-1-(ДКП) dated October 28, 2024, the discount rate of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has been set at 9% per annum.
The resolution comes into effect on October 29, 2024.
On the amendment to the Subsoil Law and the repeal of the Law prohibiting activities related to the geological exploration of subsoil for the purpose of prospecting, exploration, and development of uranium and thorium deposits in the Kyrgyz Republic
In accordance with the signed Law, the ban on activities related to geological study of subsoil for the purpose of prospecting, exploration and development of uranium and thorium deposits in the Kyrgyz Republic is canceled.
